I cannot find out what the Mmme warfare means. I saw this in the news release about the newest Virginia class submarine - USS North Carolina SSN 777. Being an old submariner I have never heard this term before. Need help!

My guess is: One too many 'm's and not enough 'i's.

I'd have to agree with Mack....spelling is becoming a lost art.

There is nothing wrong with a publik skool edukation today. I get more irritated with the text message people.

We have an engineer - a real degreed engineer, with a PE in South Carolina and all that neat stuff - the man sent out an e-mail that my 13 year old son was picking apart. the old days of the three "R"s are definitely past.

I believe that the preferred spelling is 'skrool' in Arkansas. There is no such word, at all, in Louisiana!

As to txt msg...My Lady teases me that I spell out whole phrases, complete with punctuation, in a text message. She asked: "Could you not call me more quickly?" Sigh!

Exactly... I don't text much except the wife at work... but I type very fast so it's easier than calling.

I am terrible at texting. I find it easier to call. I guess I am just getting old. Well that and I have thick thumbs.

Quit trying to text when daughter started correcting my text spelling errors and grammar . Figured being messed up in one form of English was enough

Actually I was thinking of the favorite section of Mechanics Illustrated , yea MIMI . The leggy lass who showed off the new stuff . 60's were sweet . I read the stories in Playboy too
