What's goin on every1!? I leave for BMT January 26, 2010 and my AFSC is Airfield Management Apprentice.
Anyone else have that job or leave on that date? I've done research on the job but I prefer to hear about the day to day responsibilities from someone that experiences them First hand...

I'm not Base ops (aka airfield management) but we deal with them due to working on aircraft arresting systems. Basically they either hang out in the office or drive the airfield-taxiways/runways making sure they're FOD free and the overall condition(dry,wet,etc) They also call us with any NOTAMS that might effect us on the airfield.

Well, not leaving on exactly that date, but shortly after.

I'll be leaving on Feb. 16th, 2010, and my AFSC will be Integrated Avionics Apprentice.
