I did the whole choose at least 5 AFSC last week, and got word two days ago that I got the go ahead with 5JOX1 paralegal; which had 10 slots open..I need to get a physical which i scheduled for the 24th, take a typing test, and have a interview with the base judge advocate here. Now my questions.. 1.just because i got to apply for paralegal, does that mean i could not get it as a FTA?
2. And do you know roughly how many FTA get denied retraining for the AFSC they chose?
1. Yes, you can denied for that job or any job as a FTA. It depends on how long it takes for you to get your application submitted and how many times it meets a board. The board usually meets the third Thursday of each month. I think that you have up to three boards that look at your application. Those slots could run out before you they get to your application
2. Not sure. That is something that you need to talk to AFPC about, if they even know the answer to that.
