Rumor has it that the reason she didn't run in the AF Marathon is because she's pregnant.
Since her disability status falls under the privacy act, as well as does her re-evaluation by the medical board, one can only guess that she has continued on her status or was retired.
One thing for sure, two of three general officers familiar with her case have retired and the one who was physically on Manas AB when she resurfaced is now the PACAF/CC.
Obvious logic would say that unless she was some cloak and dagger spy, her story would have been publicized and pushed forward for some amazing medal. There would be books and movies. Wouldn't the AF love to give the AF Cross to a woman? This story should have been that case. The fact none of this happened reeks of coverup.
Coverup because the All American girl was out getting knocked up by a man not her husband while deployed, she freaked and went AWOL and made up a cock and bull story about the whole thing...then sweettalked the right people into aiding and abetting her b.s story.
Major Jill Metzger was RETIRED with a 100% PTSD pension. It's a coverup. She was never kidnapped and two of her ex-boyfriends are General Gary North, and the General John D. W. Corley, who General Norton Schwartz forcefully retired recently.
Given the fact that two of her ex's are 4 stars, she got knocked up in Kyrgyzstan, her husband's in OSI, her father is a retired O-6, and she made permanent O-4 without getting a Master's degree.......
The Air Force definitely has different spanks for different ranks. I'm soooo glad I got out when I did. I saw the corruption over a quarter of a century ago.
