It's hard to believe a website that honors military services has chosen to use the humor of the most clueless, unpatriotic comic occupying American soil. This guy's idea of being American is having the right to burn the flag and degrade those whose service and sacrifices made his sorry career possible.
WTF are you people doing? Trudeau has been anti-military since his days as an Ivy League student. His take on Vietnam vets was bad enough, but now Military.com sees fit to showcase this POS? Look in the mirror, stupid!
Another poster mentioned this over in the Hot Topics section and of course at least one of the Moderators came to the defense of this low-life cartoon/cartoonist.
I think that if you look at who owns the website {Monster.com} it will give a clue as to why this trash is not only permitted, but given front page access. Go to the bottom of the page and look at the legal-beagle ownership stuff and you'll see that Monster/Military.com is HQed in San Francisco---just about the worst, nastiest, military hating town in the USA.
If in doubt about that, scroll over to "In the news" section and read threads/headlines about the massive parades/road blockages they have in that city...usually to protest the U.S. military. Not long ago the USMC was going to film a commercial there (don't ask me why?), but the officials in San franfreako denied the request.
My newspaper used to put Doonesbury's more strident strips in the Opinion Page. I think they should all be there, better yet, maybe in the Obituaries as they're about that funny.
