Anybody out there an 88N, Traffic Management Coordinator? I am in the process of going back into the Army and this is my likely MOS. Just looking for some insight into the MOS, what kind of job is it, promotion possibilities, duty stations etc. Any input would be appreciated. Thanx
The MOS,like all others, has its up's and down's. In garrison you have a lot of down time, seeing asthough the MOS is basicly a civilan job. So that means a lot of classes, details, and sitting around. Downrange though is another story. You'll work with all services, American, British, Iraqi among others and all career feilds. You will have an important meaningful job. Request to be sent to an MCT(Movement Control Team). Its a small unit that does more 88N duites. Basicly you'll run and air feild, staging yard(convoy's) among countless other missions. If your looking for a high speed on the front line type job, you wont get it here, but I think its the best job in the Army. One of the really good things about being a 88N is that were everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Were in every major base,as well as ports. There is even an MCT in the Netherlands. One of my Sgt's just PCS'd to Miami. I hope this help, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask
