Enlisted as 92f petroleum supply specialist and now I am being offered ammunition specialist because I have been bugging my recruiter to get me something in logistics. There are't many jobs to choose from so this is basicly what I have to pick from. Which one of these would help me in the future when my service is over in getting a job in logistics? That's what I'm going to major in for my bachelor's so I need some experience in that field. Thanks in advance.

Hey! Nice to hear you have another option. I would definately switch to ammunition specialist! You could also bug your recruiter some more to give you some more options lol, because I am sure there is a way. I would pick 92R over 92F anyday. Good luck.

Newb- Im a 92F working in a 3/5 platoon. Meaning we are combined with ammo. I would change to Ammo if I were you. Promotion is faster than it is as a fueler. Thats my main reason. If you have anymore questions let me know.

Well I was wondering how similar is 92f compared to 88m. From what I understand they are both truck driving jobs except that 92f also has the duty of fueling vehicles. My current occupation is truck driving and was joining the army to learn something new so if you could clarify this for me it would be helpful.

We have a few 88m's in my platoon. And if your an 88m in my plattoon you will learn something new because you will be doing a fueling job. Yeah we drive trucks. But me being in an aviation brigade. I only drive trucks around the flight line. Its an easy job man. I would look up the promotion points for all 3 jobs for the past 6 months to a year and make your decision on that. Cause thats all thats important. Getting promoted.
