WTC is a great program and I commend the soldiers responsible for coming up with it. I unfortunately am not going to be able to attend because of 2 Felony Convictions I obtained shortly after my first discharge 11 years ago. I'll be the first to say that I'm not an advocate for allowing Felons an easy entry into the Armed Forces, and certain convictions like Murder, child molestation, Rape should never be considered period. I do however have a big problem with soldiers not being allowed in when they have demonstrated the capability of being a model citizen for over 10 years and have Prior Military experince that can only help in this present 3 front conflict that we are facing today. A lot of prior service soldiers trying to get back in at this time, means that a good portion of us have Desert Shield/Desert Storm training, and the fact that a prior service guy who fully understands what he or she is facing yet still knocks on the door of re-enlistment should speak volumes, but none of these things are considered in the "person as a whole" process. We instead continue to focus on sending our kids who have bright futures while our enemies send their kids our way with bombs strapped to their chest. We are in a conflict that will have no quick end and with an enemy that plays with no rules. We have Felons across this great U.S of A sitting pretty in their facilities, while our kids go out and fight. What are we doing here? We fight hard and then find out that we must not destroy the poppy fields in Afghanistan because we don't want to take money out of farmers pockets? Over $100 million dollars of these farms proceeds are used by the Taliban and Al Qaeda to buy weapons whose bullets find their way to the demise of our fellow soldiers. We need to change the way we go about business or we will be in serious trouble and burning soldiers like me is a one shot deal. You boys on your way to the WTC, pay careful attention, take your training serious and pick up the youngsters around you always. They look to you for guidence, we owe it to them to keep them as safe as safe can be. God bless you all...Hoooah!

Nice to know that you have a point of view, however it doesn't tell us much. If you came here to see how others feel about your POV, you have to spell out just what your 2 felonies are. Otherwise your post really doesn't add any value to this forum and you put it here mostly to feel better about yourself.
