Who are you, really?

Are you a retiree? A defense contractor? A military enthusiast?

Just curious...

I'll give it a shot. I think he works at Boeing in St. Louis or Chicago. He's a mouthpiece for the military-industrial complex and often pastes long industry press releases in the forums, or articles favorable to his viewpoint from various independent publications. For instance, "Ospreys successfully fly in support of investigation on V-22 crash.." Alright, I made that one up, but you get my point.

A similar poster is SATCtech. Surely, posting here and defending their product is a part of their jobs. That's all they seem to do. The tanker contract going to Air Bus has compelled Schlappy to start posting over here lately. He's been advocating for the Osprey on the USMC aviation forum for years.

I just like to think of myself as an American military enthusiast who enjoys keeping others updated on military related projects/operations/news, while sometimes interjecting an opinion on said topics. Wink

That picture is YOU, Schlappy?

Looks just like this chick I brought home from downtown this weekend at the RiverFest.

If it was you...don't tell me.

I don't wanna know.

(actually, it WASN'T you...she had eye holes cut in HER bag...)

Whew!!!

And your bag too???

A bagger is a date that's so less than homely looking you put a bag over their head so you can ignore it.

A Double bagger is getting uglier, you put one over your head so nobody can clam seeing you together.

A Tripple bagger is so ugly, the peeping Tom needs one too.

By the way it appears you do you know the Gunner, Boomer, FE, loadmaster motto: Avoid the rush, go ugly early.

The Boomers at Grissom played the "fattest" game on TDYs, and then you'd hear them talking about it in the Club. I'm not sure what was more gross. Needing a bag or flour or both! Eek

Never used flour...often should have used a bag (or two, or three)...

But I can GUAR-AN-TEE you that I would have won the contest, Torch. No doubt.

There are things people are famous for in life...and there are things people are Infamous for in life.

Tonnage has always been in the latter category for me. (but at least I don't ever strike out when playing "road" games).

I've gone big on 4 continents so far...with more to come, I'm certain.

Didn't the President tell us to help out our neighbors? To do some charity work? I'm sure he said that.

Torch:

I wonder how many here understood the flour and what it was used to find. Either case the bag analogy is the closest to PC I can disclose on these forums without getting the boot. Other than the difference between Coyote ugly and Wolf ugly.

Coyote Ugly is after night of drunken fun you look over at what you were sleeping with and chew off your arm to avoid waking what is in bed with you as you leave. Wolf Ugly is you chew off the other arm so you don’t wake to such a surprise after a night of drunken fun in the future.

No comment. I've been trying to block that stuff out for a long time. I think maybe it gave me PTSD.

I went ugly at the Junior High School dance, in 1987.

Early enough?

Ever see a C-5 squat? I had that vision one night after a rough night at Ramstein and saw what was hanging out at 20 mark strassen.
