Trying to answer a question here, but some of the articles I found are a little confusing, and don't specifically talk about a debt that has been sent to collections. If a service member had an account prior to enlisting, but it was ultimately sent to a collection agency, does the SCRA provide any option relating to that debt, or do they need to just pony up and pay it off? I read the About.com articles and a few other sites, but it seems pretty vague when talking about what I guess you would call consumer debt.

Thanks in advance,
V/R
