I re-elinsted. Got a bonus, Then 3 Months later I was seperated UOTH conditions. The money was tax free (combat zone) and Chapter is a 10.
I called my Finance office when I requested the Chapter, they said under chapter 10, I do need to repay the bonus. Then I went to finance to clear and they said nothing. I have been out for 1 yr and 7/8 months and am still sitting on it. Obviously I dont want to wave a flags saying I have money come get it....but I havent recieved anything in regards to it...its like they dont know I have it, or overlooked it. It is a substantial amount of money too.
Does anyone know anyhting about these situations? What happens...what I should do? It isnt my fault they forgot about it...then again my re enlistment paperwork had probably just fallen on someones desk around the time I was getting out.
My main concern is if it mine and if not...how would i know the Army's looking for thier money and when should i hear form them...
Any input (obviously factual as possible) would be great. Thanks
