Hi, I'm stationed in Ft. Huachuca. Im an e-5 and my husband is an e-6. I have a friend who is an e-4 and her husband is an e-6 and they are getting dual military FULL bah. And she said i am supposed to be getting it too. My husband has 2 kids and we have one together. Tell me what is the policy regarding that?

They could be in trouble because only the Sr member is to get BAH w/dependents, so therefore only her dh would qualify for it. Unless she has children from a previous relationship that she has custody of and then they have 1 together. In which she would get it for her kids and he would get it for theirs.

As the Sr member your dh qualifies for BAH w/dependents which he would be getting if he has custody of the children. If he doesn't have custody then he maybe only getting the BAH w/o dependents and now that you have a child would be getting BAH w/dependents because of that child.
