Hey There,
MY husband just reinlisted into the Army, he was prior navy. I was looking over his LES for this last paycheck as he is in WTC and can't look over it. There were several things that concerned me on it and I googled a thousand times but found nothing. There was a deduction for "Casual Pay" for 2104.00 a huge amount. WE did take out a loan for a thousand dollars while he was WTC but it was supposed to be paid of slowly over his enlistment. Also He received a advance card thing he could use at the PX while there for 250.00 but on his LES we were deducted twice for it... It said Advance pay on the entitlement column and then twice on deductions.... one said advance pay and then the second said repay advance. I have cut and pasted below... ANY help would be wonderful. I don't know about anyone else but 1350.00 dollars is a lot of money to be deducted and missing with no real answer... ADVANCE PAY 250.00 CASUAL PAY 2104.00 REPAY ADVANCE 250.00 |

Bring in the Les to the finance office, do the math yourself on the back of the Les before you bring it in so you will have an example of what is going on. Bring the month before it happened Les and after as well. It would also help if you or your husband had a copy of the paperwork used to get the casual pay and advance (saying what the monthly paybacks are supposed to be). In the Army always keep paperwork!
