I recently was made aware that although costly, battery powered Bi-paps are available. My breathing abilities have significantly regressed and I find that the only way I can breath comfortably is on my bi-pap. This restricts me to use only when I have electric power accessibility. As I am currently disability retired and my wife will be retiring soon, I was wondering if the Veteran's Administration would consider precribing this as an additional durable equipment machine.

wow I didn't know the battery bi paps existed. When my stepfather had to use the regular one he would be so afraid when we had power outages, we always had to have a generator handy.
But anyways, Good luck on your request.
