Hey, I have been doing push ups for a while now. I'm doing the Army ROTC program at my school. I'm still behind on my push ups. A few weeks I tested myself to see how many I could do in 2 minutes, got to 40 but got a slitting headache that went away soon after stopping.

The past few weeks i can only get to about 25 without getting the same headache but it doesn't go away as quickly.

I'm making sure I'm breathing correctly, inhale going down, exhale going up. and I positioned my hands a lower to my body then I had been doing but it didn't seem to help. Although i haven't given it much time.

I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem ever, or knows what might be going on. And maybe something that I can take that is allowed by the Army to take, something i don't have to go to a doctor for, don't feel like dealing with more paperwork.

Any help will be much appreciated, Thanks

Get yourself into the DOCTOR and get it checked out! Come on now, common sense tells you that if there's something that's out of the ordinary happening to your body when doing a specific thing--get it checked out.

Go to the doctor.

We cannot give you medical advice because we are not doctors or nurses. We can tell you that you should go to see a doctor immediately especially before you leave for the ROTC program. This can have serious repercussions if you do not and you do have something that needs to be treated.
