I was looking to see if anyone has tried any pills that are really good appetite suppressants? I've tried Hoodia by Hydroxycut as well as DEX-L10 Hoodia and neither really seemed to suppress my appetite at all. I'm 5'5 135 and I just want to loose 8 pounds so I can be at my ideal weight. The only thing stopping me is food. My intense workouts are causing me to eat more therefore maintain the same weight. Any info/input is appreciated.
I wouldn't recommend diet pills. They tend to have so many side effects.
If your intense workouts are increasing your appetite, try eating foods that are high in protein and fiber. I fill up on so much fiber that is low in calories and it tends to help suppress the appetite.
Also, when you are hungry, drink about 2 full glasses of water. That also helps. Apples tend to make you feel full also.
Diet pills are a temporary fix and people tend to gain the weight back when using them.

My husband is currently deployed and I am trying to lose weight while he is gone. I have been taking Lipo 6X and it is working great, gives a great energy boost and suppresses appetite very well. They also have a Lipo 6X for women only, but I have read many reviews on it and it's just a "watered down" version of the other. It can be purchased at GNC, Wal-mart, etc. Wal-mart seems to be the best price though. Good luck!!
The high in protein low in carb/fat "diets" work when you exercise because your body already has enough fat and carbs to burn stored up in those places you are trying to shrink. But to burn protein your body is going to start to eat its own muscle.
Based on that information I would eat about 3/4 cup or 6 oz of protein and then veggies or fruit to finish filling up....
If you get hungry right after a work out grab a piece of fruit or a hand full of carrots instead of a burger and fries. I have learned recently its all in what you eat.
