I decided I would do something creative and useful and put them out on the 'net on my blog type thing.

I will include pictures and updates. It will be cool. Maybe.

I'm using my scanner which has a program that recognizes the letters and words on a printed page and coverts the whole mess into a Word document. Luckily, I have the neat typed copies Dad made much later when he had some type of early crap computer, and these are transferring quite nicely.

So, no, I am not re-typing every one of Dad's 45 or so Vietnam articles. That would be silly and improper and imprudent and ponderous! Pretty much.

Additionally, I am not doing much editing, because I know that would pish Dad off! A few spelling and syntax errors, and references to my uncle's full name, are all I've changed so far...

Any comments, concerns, suggestions will be considered

Your dad's articles are cooler than cool. They are awesome! Not only awesome, but they are inspiring. I am a war poet and feel new poems will be spilling soon from my pen as a result of your father's experiences and observations.
