My husband served as an MP out of Long Bihn, 557 MP unit, in 71. Currently searching for a SGT Greg McGill, fellow MP.

I will apologize up front as I don't know the protocol and don't even understand the abbreviations and slang for most of the things I've seen on the board. I'm a 4th wife of a Viet Nam vet, trying to find a couple of men my husband remembers from his time in Nam. He's seeking help for the first time from the VA, has little to no recall of names, but remembers a Greg McGill, a fellow MP -- thinks he may have been from Oregon, possibly Oakridge?

Also, he ran into a man from his home town of Jonesboro, Ark that he knew while his unit was running a convoy escort to a fire base - he wants to say it was Bunker Hill but he's not sure. This man's name was Olan Gann. He has no idea what his position was, but remembers meeting someone from his hometown.

If anyone can help me locate either of these two men, I would be truly grateful!

Sincerely,
S. Love
