Well, I know there is a Nascar thread on every site, but this is my home area, so I want one here.

So, lets talk Nascar, or racing in general, I dont really care. I dont know much about other racing leagues, but all are welcome.

Okay, first off, Saturday night we start again, and my boy Dale Jarrett got the lucky draw and is on the Pole for the Bud Pole shootout.

Not sure I like the new toyota, but as someone said about them, they sell almost as many cars as ford, chevy and Dogde, so why not. Since my man is driving one this year, I say why not.

I have heard that they dont think the Camary will win a race this year. I will say bull to that. I am predicting, right here before any races start that they will have at least one win, and by the first 10 races, one will be in a top 10 finish.

I hope so anyway.

So lets start this off right.

Who is your most favorite driver?

Yes, you can pick more than one.

Mine is of course Dale Jarrett, I also like the way Biffle drives, and Hamlin is very good as is Riggs, they were both very impressive last year.

Now, I didnt start in Nascar with Gordon and Dale Jr, simply because they are the main stars, but after watching Dale Jr last year, I have to say I really like this guy.

When he makes a mistake, he didnt blame someone else, he stepped up and said, you what that was my fault and I should have been paying attention. Also, when its not his fault, he has no problem jumping someones azz for it.

Well, Dale Jarret was always a favorite of mine too. I even have a #88 UPS jacket and a NASCAR model of his car. Rusty I like alot too and one of my favorites is also Sterling Marlin. Yeah I know. I like all the old guys. Well, I can't help it....I'M OLD! As for Toyota.....Ahh, I could take em or leave em. But then again, they're just as American as Ford, GM or Dodge nowadays, right??? I was suppose to go to Watkins Glen last year but something came up and I couldn't go. BUMMER. I'm gonna try this year and maybe Pocono too. We'll see.

I am still a little iffy about Toyota and them being in it, but seeing that my guy is there, I dont really have a choice. I like the older guys too, Mark Martin is a class act, I really like how he never forgets his fans, even when he has a bad day. Classy man.

Just watch some of the practice on speed for tommorow, Jimmy Johnson blew a tire while trying to come in. Dale Jr, damn near lost it twice and had to come in and return to his original setup before he hit the wall.

I only saw a few minutes of it yesterday. had too much stuff to do. Gotta love the SPEED Chanel. Can't wait for the new PINKS series to start. Some of those guys are real punk puzzies though. But I still love to watch it. I crack up when the loser starts to cry. Big baby. Man, I would never race for pinks. That's just plain stUpid.

I used to like NASCAR alot more years ago. You know, when they actually drove the real stock cars. Not this "one shell fits all" stuff they have today. I still prefer drag racing. 1,2,3 OVER. I LIKE THAT! Probably because I used to drag race alot in my youth. Maybe I'll start a Drag Racing Thread.???? Naaaaa. GO JOHN FORCE!

Man, I sure was hoping for a better showing from my boy Dale Jarrett. Guess those Toyotas are gonna need some more work. Although I did hear one commentator state that since there new they may not have spent alot of time for a bud shootout car and spent time on the race itself for sunday. Makes sense I guess.

How did you like Smoke already at it? You know Kyle will want to get him back for that, I think the race sunday is gonna be a good one.

Oh, Dale jr, messed up again, but at least he admits it. I still am liking him more and more.

Yeah, I am hoping that they didnt spend alot of time on the Bud Pole cars cause they are working on the DAYTONA cars for sunday.

Can you believe all the stuff going on the Waltrip? They have to do a better job of cheating. You know, hide it better. I'll tell you, Toyota is NOT looking good, that's for sure. Bummer....I might have to work Sunday and miss Daytona. I'll do my best though to make sure I can avoid that.

Yeah, BV, I was looking for what happened to Tony, I was all over the nascar.com trying to figure it out. Saw nothing, realized you must have meant MW. I cant believe you would try to do something so obivious as put rocket fuel in, and then be stupid enough to put in the back up car they were giving him the fair chance, but he did it again, and now MW has to start his first year in a new program in the hole.

Hell, he aint the only one either, Kahne, Riggs, and Sadler are in the hole too.

Cant wait for the race. AS long as Tony dont win I dont mind, I just hope Jarrett makes a good showing and places in the top 10.

TUV, I don't know if you looked at what I wrote close enough. What I was doing was mimicing what they do on TV. You know, when they put that "CRANK IT UP" on for you, to turn up your volume.
