Calling all ISM applicants - how about posting some scores here so your shipmates and fellow applicants can get an idea of how everyone is doing. I've heard three scores so far. I won't name names but they are a 228, 273, and a 342.
You might be right but there are always some high scores. The average for the Primary cut over the past few years is only around 205 and alternate was in the 190's. The guys with the really high scores are usually really old....;-)
Great score. Thank you for posting. Obviously we can't make any assumptions in this forum about what the primary and alternate scores will be but it's nice to be able to discuss the process, see how others are doing, and generally stoke the spirit of competition.
Here is the important part regarding Primary/Alt canddates
PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE CANDIDATES: All primary candidates go before the board unless they are removed from the preboard eligibility list. Reasons for being removed are; ineligible, CO removal, member requests to be removed, retirements, etc. Alternate candidates do not go before the board unless a primary candidate is removed. The next alternate in line would then move up to the primary position.
Good luck to all!
