Got my ballot, actually 2- vote early, vote often??? Anyway, do the candidates publish their Bios? The info sheet says so little. Also, its interesting that none of the candidates list membership in the CPOA. Erik
From Bill Reetz VP Retired Affairs CWOA We know about the multiple ballot problem (the mailing/printing companyis working on the problem). Hopefully those who get two ballots will just throw one away. We will monitor the final count to see if there is a major change in the total return.
I don't have the actual date (live in Florida) mailing company is in Virginia. The ballots were delivered to the service company late December and mailed as a seperate mailing not as an insert in the newsletter as previous years. Ballots must be received in DC by 1 March 2008.
I only wish I had a bio, I'm just not comfortable voting in the blind. Maybe they will be in the CWOA magazine? Seems that the election can't be that important if the candidates don't even care to let us know who they are and what they've done...
Nothing in the CWO news, guess I can finally throw away the ballots that were collecting dust. Seems disappointing that the candidates don't care to introduce themselves anywhere. Erik
