All,

Please forward to those that knew retired LT (ex-RMC/TCC) Andy
Rasico. He retired back in 2005 from CAMSPAC. He was an RM "A"
School instructor of mine. He's an old friend of mine and I'm sure
there are at least a few folks on both these lists that knew him.

Everyone,

Most if not every single person on the TO: line of this Email
personally knows Andy Rasico. As you'll see in the note below from
Andy's wife Lisa, Andy is undergoing open heart surgery to repair a
defective valve.

Lisa is requesting that all of Andy's friends send him a note telling
him what we've all been up to and how much we are all thinking of
him. I hope all of you will accept this request and do as Lisa asks.
Andy is one of the best guys I have ever had the pleasure to call
shipmate and friend. Please put this in your reminder list to do.

Also, please think of the many others whose life Andy has touched and
if you know how to contact them with this request ... please do so.

The Email address for Andy is below.

Thanks

Frank

Hello Dave & Frank,

This is Lisa, Andy's wife. I writing today to ask a favor on Andy's
behalf.

Andy is going in this morning for open heart surgery to replace a
defective valve between the 3rd and 4th chambers of his heart. It's a
long story, but we think the health problems he's been having for the
last few years may finally have a cause.

He's going to be in the hospital for probably a week, and then there
is a significant recovery time here at home. What I'd like to ask is
that you forward this email to as many of Andy's friends as you can
think of and that everyone send an email telling Andy what they've
been up to. It'd be a great surprise to him to hear from everyone,
and it'd make a nice diversion for him while being at the hosptial.

Folks can reply to Andy's email address or to mine: lily6311@msn.com.
Thank you both very much for helping me out.

Lisa Rasico

Everyone,
I heard from Andy the other day and he says he is doing really well. He said they have removed the stitches from his last surgery already and that this is healing nicely. He is still very tired all the time however, as that is still a symptom of the heart valve problem that has yet to be take care of.

He said the Heart Surgery with be completed in Sacramento vice Grass Valley and that he is going down to Sacramento in the near future for a couple check ups and to schedule the heart valve repair. We don’t yet know where that will be but it is coming up really soon.

For all the rest of you ... Cards and Letters, Cards and Letters, Cards and Letters.

Thanks
