For every 400 other there, I am sure there are some 150 to balance it all out. If the cuts come out soon I won't be worrying about the warrant thing as much.
The Warrants are slower moving targets than the 8's and 9's so I figured an easier herd to cull! Doesnt mean you shouldn't be watching your back though Senior, I'm keeping all my options on the table this year. LOL! R/ Phil

I really wish they'd take marks out of the equation or at least make them no so important. You gotta think that person that got a 400 has at least 10 7s... I really have a hard time thinking anyone is that good. If you are that good/smart of a Chief/Senior Chief, then you should be sitting at #1 or at least #2 on the SWE list... I have a huge issue how we do marks, if you can't tell.
Anyway, that's my opinion... (and yes, I'm a little disgusted with the system)
Chris, if it makes you feel better, I have applied 8 times, this is the first time that I might get past the pre-board. The same year I will make HSCM.
Let's see, Ron as a Master Chief or Ron as a Warrant, I can only hope he goes MED, that way I can enjoy some payback for the constant (slang for stool) I get from him. Better yet, CWO Ron sitting in a cubicle at HQ or MLC having to whisper on the phone because he doesn't want his bosses hearing him talk bad about the K program!
