This is my first shot at ELC. I have no clue what's a good score? I was hoping to get a feel here.

TOTAL PRE-BOARD SCORE: 269.1700

Rob,
Good to see your still alive and kicking. Based off of last years numbers your score would place you on the the primary list and you'd be doing just fine. Give me a call if you have any questions. More importantly work on your resume and OER.
Good Luck,
Greg

Does anyopne know what the max score you can rec is? I just viewed another board an it had someone with a score of over 400!!! Hopefully we don't have anyone applying for elc with that score.

The pre-board score puts people in a "pecking order"... Last year, my pre-board score was 20 points below the cut for primary. As an alternate, my resume was read and I ended up 13 on the list.

I wouldn't worry about other rate's pre-board scores...
actually, I don't worry about the score period.

So correct me if i am wrong, but you can still make warrant even if you don't make the primary? Then why have a primary an alternate?
Did you apply again this year?

My first time applying also. My preboard is a 207.5. I'm just hoping to get my resume' read. I'd be happy with that.

I did apply again... although I'm hoping a new cut will come out. The primary and alternate list is to establish which resumes get looked at first (I'm pretty sure that's how it works).

Good luck to everyone that applies this year!!

Maz,
I wouldn't sweat it you'll most likely make it off of last years list with me. To my friends and everyone else I wish the very best of luck, looking at the scores seems like lots of competition this year. Beer

Jake,
Looks like I might be a similar situation as you. I'm #17 from last years list. Waiting patiently for a revision... Congrats of E-7!
