From what I've been told by other CWO's - it's only the best of the crop that gets in, so that pretty much cuts me out, and after looking at the pay charts - with Army and CG time not sure it's even worth it.
whoa..Im no where near this 330 you all speak of....Of course i am currently a 1st within the Chief cuts and less than 4 yrs rated sea time and 6 award points.
How do i raise up my score for the following years to become a major player with all you folks?
Focus on your evals! The preboard score has so much to do with your evaluations. Once you've been evaluated as a chief, your score will go up. Keep your head up! Last year my score was 270 something. I was the cut for primary. This year it went up 90pts.

I agree with ya Don. This is my 6th time applying and I'm starting to wonder if someone's telling me I need to stay enlisted. I'm sure I'll make the primary with my 343 but I doubt I'll make the top 5 on the list. It's been a frustrating journey believe me but, I'll keep trying at least a couple more times. After that I'm throwing in the towell for CWO. Besides, the Guard needs good enlisted men right? Good luck everyone!
