The CWO meetings are held once a month out here. I've been invited but hesitate to take them up on it as I don't know anyone in the CG let alone a CWO anymore

The Southern New England Chapter CWOA will be participating in the Veterans Day Ceremony, November 11th, in Falmouth, MA. Those CWOs planning to attend please arrive no later than 1045 for an 1100 ceremony at Memorial Lane on Main St. in front of the Library. Come in uniform or wear some kind of Coast Guard or CWOA identification such as a ball cap. We will help pass out Viet Nam Era pins and take part in the Veterans pass in review. Come join us and help recognize all who have served.
Would love to go, but due to the distance, time of year, etc. If you have something going on this summer, let me know...I'll be in the area for a few weeks.
Walter, if you are going to be in the New England area drop me a line. I would be honored to buy you a beer or two. Maybe we can convince Pat to show up, too!
Sounds like fun! I usually stay in Hanson (sister has a big house with a place for me to park the RV), but once I disconnect the Jeep, I head all over. Love the MA roads...bought a GPS because I always get lost.
