ok well i'm going to afghanistan to be with 3rd bct i'm in 1st bct after i clear this month will i be aloud to take leave to visit family before i go or do i have to clear and i'm deployed right away?

you should speak with your supervisor man...today in the army every units does stuff defferent from the rest! so thats you best bet!
