I shipped in July, back in my day.
Too hot in the summer, started to get cold in the FTX. You'll have a marvelous time.
I concur with Diablo. Knock 'em out, You.

Well I saw that slots available for 11X and I would be going 07-26-2009,and I believe jump school in November so it's good to hear that it will be comfortable lol. But if at all possible I'm gonna try hard to get an earlier ship date.

P.s. did you take the airborne option in your contract? Or are you just gonna see if you can get it afterwards?

Best advice.
Be in shape when you get there.
Go with the flow.
Don't try to stand out.
Don't be that 'one'.
Drink water.
Never pass up a chance to sleep, poo or pee.
Get laid before you go so you won't have to be a liar about all your conquests.
Pay attention to everything.

Not true.
You have to be high score on the PT test.
300 or better.

"Get laid before you go so you won't have to be a liar about all your conquests." HAHAHA

And, well there's the Airborne option, I'm taking that, because I would just like to have certain things in writing. There's the Ranger option, but of course this all depends on timing some jobs I saw had Airborne opt available one ship date but not the next ship date. I was just wondering if you took it as an option or not. I would have took the Ranger option but it's not there, and in all fairness I guess it would be better for me to actually get some work done as an infantryman before I took that step.
