Thank you. I believe that is the highest compliment I have ever recieved.

My first OIF tour was with a M.I. unit and British Forces. I served under three different British Officers. Under the rules, if it isn't under an American Infantry CDR, not eligible. All three of them treated me like a brother.
That's one thing that bothers me. If an Infantryman does his job, it doesn't matter who is in charge of him. Contact is contact, whether it's an American Infantry CDR or not. You did get it on your next deployment, right?

My second OIF tour was with C Co. 2-7 CAV attached to the 39th and finally to C Co. 3/153 INF also 2/162 INF. When you are with your Infantry brothers, you walk with Warriors.
Truer words are never spoken. I am proud of my time with my brothers. I keep in contact with a few of them. If there is anything I miss, it's the guys that you live with.

The CPT of C Co 3/153 INF company was one of the best men I have ever known. While our camp was under attack, he stood side by side with us with his M4 and led from the front. When we went into the mazes, he walked in there with us. He had a Plt Sgt that was 6ft 2 and built like a Arnold and was a Bad Azz. It is an honor to serve with such men.
My CO was outstanding too. He always made sure he was in the front during every firefight/ambush we were in. He ended up with a Silver Star and two Bronze Stars, and he definitely earned them.
Don't have a date on the orders, but it was awarded in Jan-Feb 0f '66. Operating as a platoon leader with C Co, 1st Bn(Abn), 12th Cav in the area around LZ XRay.

You claim to be Infantry and yet have never heard of the ::edited to see if you can answer the above post::? I'm going to take a guess and say that you just didn't look at it as C I B, and you thought it was pronounced sib, like sibling.

Drop. Do pushups... I am a Scout and even I know what a CIB is. I hold those men that wear them in the highest regard. As I do all of my fellow combat veterans.
