Hello all,

Couple of quick questions, mostly trivial but I've found most everything else.

1. How are priors being inserted into the course? I have heard lots of stuff. Can I expect to start at week 1?

-I only ask this because I have heard several stories on this one. If it's week 1, no problem, just trying to see what I can expect, if possible. I am going in SPC, might have some bearing on this question.

2. I have earned Army badges/combat patches, I have proper documentation. Worthwhile to bring any of this with me? Or will I be not allowed to wear them anyways?

Thanks

Just wear your awards on your class A uniform at graduation, but have supporting documentation. You WILL experience some friction. You will participate in all of the big stuff, APFT, weapons qual, (grenade, rifle), but they will probably use you in a leadership position or for work details during other training. Be careful what you ask for because they may hold you responsible for what happens while the DI is away. Units have a lot of freedom with how they decide to use you. It's a game of chance. Your unit is as good as the leaders who run it. I feel, in general, people respect the quiet professional more than the "know it all". Cream rises to the top. Stay fit and healthy. Be wise. Get through it in one piece. Don't lose touch with who you are and get too Army headed. The best leaders are the ones who nurture their God given tallent and personality rather than trying to be someone they're not. Best of luck young man.

Detailed here by a fairly recent WTC participant and actually you should read the WTC Forum. NinjaDrill is a recent & former WTC Cadre as well as the Mod there:

Thank you all, great information.

ErichG2 - Thanks for the link on that. I read through a bit of it earlier but did not get to the part that applied to those who were not attending WTC. Now that I got beyond that, I have learned more.

Thanks again guys.
