Does anyone have any idea of the new A school distance program that just got put in. I would love to get enrolled in this program because of my current situation. I would also like to know if I can put together a dream sheet with the SPOs that are on the list. Also does the people coming off ships get higher priority than people like myself from stations. Would it be a good idea to take this offer or wait on the A school list to crawl. How is it in Kodiak Alaska as far as living there with depemdents. If anyone can answer these questions it would be really appreciated. Confused

Currently there is no Test for the current, Striker style program (You can complete the course material, but not finish until a test is finished). If I were you, I would throw my name on the "A" School List and also sign up for the striker program if your name comes up and you get orders to "A" School go, if the test comes out before hand after you have finished the Striker Program then pass it and get promoted.

As far as SPO's and a Dream Sheet, you will not get orders to go to a SPO without completing one of the other programs. You can talk with your command and see if they have a Striker Program and what are the parameters of their program. Once you have the answers from your 2nd, 1st, CPO. You can then ask to Strike under a YN that supports your unit.

As far as Kodiak and other overseas, they are set up well to support dependents.
