As was his father and both his 2 brothers. Unfortunately he died 10 years ago of lung cancer. My children received survivor benefits, but at the age of 20 my oldest son has muscular dystrophy. Today the SSI said he still is receiving benefits related to his father. Our problem is we need an electric wheelchair, and moving assistance because we are on the third floor and I have to carry him down the stairs. We have fallen more than once. Are we entitled to any help?
