Basic Training |
I've been on active duty for quite a few years, and recently I've been having trouble when I exert my body. It started with running, and proceeded with general exercise.
I didn't think it was a big deal, but when I saw the PA he mentioned something about a unit I'm going to, to evaluate whether or not They medically discharge me due to a heart condition. I know this is a bit premature, but if it is determined that I am unfit to continue my career, what steps do I need to take to avoid a messy seperation? Also, if you withhold information about the severity of the condition and they find out, what are the consequences? I appreciate the help. |

There are different things that you need to know about prior to being Medically boarded. Please go this site hadit.com to find out some information on Medical boarding. You need to know if you will be medically retired of medical seperated with Severance if I were you i will push for a medical Retirement. At the web site I mentioned above look at some of the cases that have been presented. I can speak for myself I leared a lot when it was a little to late about this whole process. My condition was about herniated discs then 2 yrs later I found out I had Heart problem, which the VA gave me service connected disability.
