I would assume you left as TSgt/SSgt after ten years of service, what I do not understand that you left w/out knowledge of your future options, bad on your part. Example I left the Navy in 1965 w/ten yrs service as a E-6 and knew at that time I could reenlist back into the Navy as a E-6 w/in one year w/out losing any rank. The Air Force offered me Tsgt (E-6) to cross over from my Navy Rank, I accepted and retired as a E-7 (Msgt). You must have known upon leaving the Air Force what your opinions were?

Good Luck
