Hello,
I have the Naval officer's uniform that belonged to my father-in-law. He passed away last year. He served in both the Pacific & Atlantic during WWII & was in the reserves for years & I believe the uniform to be at least 40 years old. What is the proper protocol for handling the uniform? The local Marine Corps League took my father's; is there a Navy League that provides this service?
We live in the Hickory / Morganton, North Carolina area. Any & all suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you -
The Ballard Family

I would ask the question Navy General Discussion

Thanks for caring enough to honor these brave men.

Blessing to you and the others who loved the vets.

A listening ear, a caring heart, an open mind and an extended hand may be all I can offer, but it is yours without charge or Judgment.
