I'm considering to join the army in hopes that they will repay some of my student loans. If you have your student loans repayed does that inhibit you from receiving funds for a secondary degree such as a masters? Also is there any loan forgiveness or repament for an active enlistee's spouce?

1. You get either Loan Repayment or the GI Bill 2. Nothing for spouses unless they join. 3. If you reenlist, then you become eligable for the GI Bill 4. There are in service education programs 5. Officer do not get student loan repayment 6. Only certain types of student loans can be repaid 7. It is taxable income

I need to know what specific loans can be repaid? Does anyone know? Also, I`m entering in seminary to become a chaplian, but i`m 41. Can anyone give me some assistance on the best option for serve. National Reserve or Army? I saw the Nation Guard has a six year repayment program does that apply to the reserve?

Loan repayment programs are not for officers. As far as serving this is not the right place. This is veterans and active duty education. Anything National Guard is on a state by state basis.
