I am trying to get in contact with my former bosses from Ft Rucker. Anyone knowing how to contact LTC Jeryl LUDOWESE, and or Major Craig Mack, that were part of Ft Rucker Command Group, from 1991-1993. Please drop me a private message. Thank you.

I'm also looking for CW-2 Dawn Stirling-Smith. I'm trying to get an error fixed in my records. Thanks for any help. Sgt Mac!

I used to work in the DOET hanger, and for the life of me, can't remember the name of the building. Doet no longer exists, but if you look on the map, you'll know the building. Was it Seal Hall? Help me out. Thanks. |

The hanger is still there. I think they built classrooms inside and moved the 15P/15Q AIT in the from the buildings next door. CIF was right around there too if I recall correctly. Not sure how you're going to find those people, brother. Good luck though. This message has been edited. Last edited by: hit_it, |

I'll be back in Rucker in a week. I'll drive by the building and see what the name is now. |

That would be very cool. I am surprised I can't find many images on the net. I don't know if it's due to OPSEC, wartime, or what. You'ld think there would be more about mother rucker. Hit it, your right, CIF was a couple buildings down, as was the old Aviation Museum.

That's it! Thanks trafficmp.
Yes, when I was there, we had ait students go thru there for UH-1 and OH-58 mechanic courses. When I returned from DS/DS. DA did away with my job in Yano Hall, and I ended up at the protocol office for a couple of years. |

When were you there azmax? The reason I ask is that all aviation mechanics did their AIT at FT. Eustis during 91-93. I thought they still did. I was at Rucker from May of 1990-March of 1992. In fact, I probably issued you some gear for Desert Storm. They pulled some of us flight school students who were on hold due to the flight school bubble and sent us over to help issue desert gear to the 229th right before they left.
The only AIT at Rucker during that time that I know of was ATC and Aerial Observers. |

Wow, You probably did, I deployed with HHC 3/5 plt 2/229th. I was at Doet late 89 till DS. When I came back, TRADOC did away with all CSMs drivers, and didn't do jack for a few weeks before they attached me to post HQ's. They never stopped training the mechanics that I know of, rarely went by there. You guys know some of my work, I did most of the post flag displays, and a lot for the Aviator Graduation Ceremonies. I just found out that the AA school is no longer. So much for The Heart of Air Assault.

Anyone you know with an AKO account should be able to look those folks up for you in the white pages on the AKO site or in the world wide locator.
