I'm an active duty Marine (MOS is 6176 MV-22B crew chief) and I want to become an Army Warrant Officer. I have two options that I know of:

Finish my current contract (9 months left) and then apply as a civilian or

reenlist and then do an interservice transfer.

I've been told that I'm in a critical MOS for the Marine Corps, so the CMC might not approve my request to transfer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
