Don't sweat it. This is a discussion that can probably benefit a lot of other people, too. Although I'm sorry we hijacked your topic, 2152...

Haha. Don't worry about it. I think what you said about the discussion benefiting other people was correct. I liked reading the discussion because it gave a different look into the Warrant Officer experience than I've read before. Plus, updates from me are going to be kind of slow. Still waiting to get med records so I can go down to MEPS. But just found out two days ago one of my buddies got rejected from the Navy Officer program because of some medical issues. Kind of a shame too, had an OAR score of 60 and is probably the most intelligent kid that I know.

This is 21525206, but I got a new name because I wasn't a big fan of just a number string.
Finally, got all my med paperwork in last week. Getting records from 4 and 10 years ago is a pain in the ass. Especially, when the hospital that repaired a thumb closed down in 2000. But I received the info but had to go get a write up from the doctor that did the thumb surgery saying that I don't have any retained hardware because the info was incomplete. I also had to write a statement to go along with that write up to explain the situation.
Hopefully, all of this goes through and doesn't take months on end. How long are the med reads taking these days... anyone know?

Welcome back!
I had some explaining to do at MEPS, and I wasn't released until 8 in the evening while my folder was reviewed and stamped.
My two-day flight medical went smoother, and I knew at the end of the second day. The flight surgeon enjoyed bearing good news, apparently. Called me on my personal cell to tell me.

Well, they give you a choice.
"Don't ask, don't tell" is still in effect, but they give you a choice.
And if you pick the "other" one, you get a guaranteed Kiowa slot after primary. Dunno what that's all about.

Haha dude... You crack me up Mr. Motivated. I got the flight physical. LOL! No probing the butt but the hernia check kind of sucked.

So on a work trip a guy that I had worked with before and am currently working with mentioned that he was a former Army aviator (retired Lt Col). We started talking about it and after a little he said that he would write me a letter of recommendation if I needed it which is pretty sweet.
Also, still waiting on a Med Read to come back. Hurry up and wait.
