I was recently selected for MEDEVAC flight training and was wondering is there are any dustoff units at the 173rd Airborne as I would like to be stationed there.

Unfortuately, no. There are no MEDEVAC units in Italy. There are 2 in Germany (part of the 173rd has moved to Germany now). One is in the 12th CAB, the other belongs to USAREUR. They are based in Landstuhl and Katterbach.
