Hello I am currently working through the process of enlisting into the Wyoming National Guard, and my goal is to become a pilot. I know the guard does not have the "street to seat" program and that I must enlist first then apply for a spot at WOFT. Im being told 15p because wyoming has to many 15t's at this time. At least that is what both recruiters I have spoken with have told me. Is this the best route or would I have the same chance in a different MOS? I hear 15p is kinda slow but Im a hard worker and can make the best of it because of my long term goal. Thanks in advance for any advice and for your service

First, I'm going to start by asking if you've done ANY research, or even better, have you used the ever so useful "Search" function.

Any MOS can apply, I know of people being infantry in the guard and then putting a packet together.

That's always a plus, good workers are hard to find, but you seem to want everything handed to you, something as simple as "Google" could have saved you time, but what do I know, I only did everything myself. I only asked questions here when I exhausted my search options.

Thanks in advance for any advice and for your service

No problem, if you need anything else, ask, I'm sure people will be more than willing to answer questions that have been asked here at least twice a week since 2004.

Thank you NunezFlyer for your response. I know that these questions have been asked alot and I guess I could have asked it a little differently. I have researched this alot but I find that some things are consistant and others are not. I guess I was just double checking myself to make sure I understood the process fully. Again thank you for your advice
