For those who haven't heard yet, we lost two 2-6 Cav pilots today in a Kiowa crash at Wheeler Army Airfield. Cause is unknown and names aren't released yet. Tragic day here in Hawaii

Lord have mercy.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing both men, but I did know one. He is already greatly missed and many of us are grieving right now. He was a great guy who could always make us smile and never had a mean thing to say about anyone. We are in prayer for both families.

Blane was the definition of "Warrior." He was my TAC at WOCS and I rode Harley's with him often, the Army is weaker now because of his loss. Cheers brother, see you on the 'Green.

Blane was one of my TAC's as well, what a great guy. Fun to hang out and have beers with, it's a shame. The Army is indeed weaker.
