Ive recently submitted my flight packet and my first pick on the 160r for station is ft carson. If im selected i would like to fly the apache and kiowa second choice since im a forward observer and CCA is where its at. I was wondering if 4th ID is moving the aviation BDE up to carson because as far as ive seen there are no apaches stationed there now just 1st of the 10th cav for 58D's. and does anyone know somewhere that tells which bases have which airframes? Im also wondering what the chances are for getting carson and if u can change your choices in school. i have alot of civilion flight exsperience and flying is my passion so i exspect to do well and b high enough in the class to get the apache track.

4ID's aviation bridage (which probably wont be known as that much longer) does not have Kiowa's and will not be joining the the division at Ft. Carson (unfortunatley)
There is an attack battalion at Carson. We just moved from Camp Eagle, to Ft Carson and as of now, we are the only aviation unit on Carson other than the guard.
