I need to purchase new class A uniforms. What I was wondering is should I wait to have my rank sewn on the sleeves before attending WOCS? Should I buy the WOC rank before going or will I have time once I'm there? Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Unless things have changed, I wouldn't sew rank onto the sleeves because your'e not going to wear A's until you graduate. Don't worry about buying WOC rank because they are going to give it to you when you get there. You'll spend enough money once you get there, don't worry, it's not called the $1000 bar for nothing. If things have changed since '07 I'm sure someone will square us away. Good luck.
Dont get it sewn on. There will be a sew shop lady that comes in to make all the adjustments if you need any and take off your stripes if they are on there. Things have not changed, its still a rite of passage and it is still at least $1000 to buy your bars.
Well by reading this I would think that y'all went to OCS or something. If you want to refer to it as "buying a bar" I'd rather it be referred to as buying the DOT. LOL Just saying.
