Current Aviators,

It's part of our job description to help in the recruiting of qualified individuals into Army Aviation. A great way of accomplishing this goal as well as aiding in the weeding out process of potential turds might be in assisting potential candidates with thier LOR's.

My suggestion is on this thread, allow request for interviews here from other forum members.

I have helped a couple people from here personally with good results.

So here is the deal. If you are in need of a interview for a LOR, post here discrete contact information and location and possibly current Aviators who frequent this board might be able to help with hooking you up with an interview. If we cant help directly, we probably know someone who can.

As always, I am willing and able to help anyone with the quest for Army Aviation. Just don't be a turd and all will be well! Big Grin

My contact info is:
kgspradley@yahoo.com
Please let me know if anyone has info on guard or reserve units that are hurting for pilots. I will go active duty but the guard is my first choice.
Also, I am 34 years old. What is the oldest age waiver that any of the PILOTS know of.

This is a great post. I have been reading many of the posts on here for the past month and this seems like it has the potential to help the most. I am a Marine with 80% of my package done. Scheduled to take the AFAST on the 7th of Sept and get my DA photo done at Bragg. Anyone know of any Aviators there? That is the closest place to me. (Camp Lejeune) Thanks in advance. My email is sckboy771@hotmail.com

I would love to speak with any current Army Aviators about this whole process, flight school, etc; and maybe get a LOR if possible. I am studying for my AFAST and ASVAB at the moment \-- want to get the best scores I can get, even on the ASVAB so my packet looks that much better. Any advice that can be given I appreciate very much. I'm a civilian, so there is a lot for me to learn about the whole experience. Thanks. I live in the Los Angeles area. my email is Odelay02@aol.com

Auto,
I just wanted to say thanks again for the contact up at Bragg. I talked to Mr. Roach and he was a tremendous help with the contact for a LOR. If you need anything please don't hesitate to ask. I owe you one.

I just wanted to express my appreciation for everyone (e.g. Autorotate, etc) who is helping out the future Aviators on this board with the LORs...

I don't need any LORs but I always like seeing Army helping Army, especially since some highly qualified applicants might have no military "connections"...which makes it a challenge to get LORs.

Hopefully I'll also be able to help out one day in the not too distant future...
