That's a big NO if you're referring to flight school.

Also, for the people that have been in the Army for awhile is the leave process really that complicated once you get out to the units? I'm from another service so I wasn't sure.

from my time down at Mother Rucker...
It seemed like they had the WOC's on lock down. I had 2 buddies from basic go through WOCS when I was at AIT. They told me they got 1 off post pass and 1 on post pass. This is from one of my buddies that just graduated:
1 guy almost got booted for kissing his wife goodbye after church one Sunday. So, the 6wks you are at WOCS, you are there 100%. No leaving early.
Hope this helps...

David,

The leave process is different in your real unit. Just submit a pass or leave form with your PL. No biggie, it's not like B Co. And guess what, you can call in from leave with the SDO when you get back..just like a real officer! As for exodus and WOCS, I can't say as I know IET soldiers get it at the BCT's. Personally I wouldn't want to be forced to take alot of leave when I was new and go in the hole as a result. Does your husband graduate in December?

If you are guard, they will force the leave on you rather than pay you for it post-graduation. At least, that is what was told to me. Don't bet on getting out early.

I'm sure you meant my wife or were meaning someone else, right? My wife isn't in the military.
