I hate to have to ask this but I have searched the forum already and can't seem to find the answer to my question, so here it goes. Can you attend WOCS on an interim clearance or must it be completed before they will cut you your RFO?
You need an interim from your unit to get your RFO, but to start WOCS you need an interim from Ft Rucker. They're pretty particular about things at Rucker but as long as you don't owe any drug dealers any money on your credit report it shouldn't be a problem. If there are issues they will let you know once you get to Rucker.
What if you already have a Secret Clearance? I came off of Active Duty a year ago with a Secret Clearance that's still good. Do they still check your credit once you get to Rucker if you already have a completed clearance?
If you already have a clearance you need to show it through a JPAS printout. Rucker should be able to get you one, if not you can contact your local DSS Field Office to get one. Or, if that is no good, PM me, and I can get you one and send it to you.
