I am a reservist, and I have basically been accepted into an aviation unit as an aviation officer based on my passing the AFAST and flight physical. I already have the ARCO study guide, but I am not sure how to study for the helicopter knowledge portion of the AFAST. I've read posts on other boards that suggest taking a helicopter flight lesson which is realistic for me, and others suggest to read FAA manuals and the like. Are there any other options out there? I really want to pass the AFAST with a good score, but I have no real knowledge about helicopters and aviation.

Confusing... You mean you will be accepted when you pass your test, not already accepted based on your AFAST score. Barron's Study guide was a good one too. Good luck.
Thanks for the help and info...The FAA study guide is just what I was looking for, and Bushmaster is correct, I will be accepted based on my AFAST score
