My husband is just weeks away from getting his wings just short of having to do BOLC III & all the sudden had SEVERE back pain. We are having to do a spinal fusion on L5-S1 with no other choices for a diskectomy. Obviously he's very disappointed & devastated that this could be a aviation career ender. I know that there's a whole process out there for waivers just wondering if anyone has gone thru a similar situation & could offer up any advice on your experience. Thanks!
