I have a friend that has recently received his shipment date for January. He has also been messing around with a girl and thinks he may have gotten her pregnant and they are not dating or anything. He is scared to talk to his recruiter or anyone else because he fears that he will get discharged and will not be able to go into the military and will also not be able to support a child if she is pregnant. Ive been helping him as much as I can and I am having trouble finding any real information. Can someone please give me some insights on what he should do.

First he needs to find out for sure if she is pregnant.

If she is, he needs to come clean with his recruiter. If this comes up after the fact he could get discharged for a fraudulent enlistment.

They might require a paternity test when the baby arrives, if she is pregnant, prior to starting any sort of child support payments.

If he's up front about it, most likely he wouldn't be. They might want a waiver for him to go in, but if it is only the child he should be fine. Now if he wants to marry the mother, then he would have 2 dependents he may very well need a waiver to get in then.

Depends which branch he is joining. He cannot join the AF as a single parent. I don't think they are issuing waivers for this.
